Being skilled at diversity & inclusion is not a fixed, inherent capability. Unfortunately, it's intimidating for some well-intentioned allies to "get started", for fear of failure, insecurity, or just plain awkwardness.
The goal of this session is to help reduce the barriers to being an ally. We'll aspire to help you feel more confident and inspired in talking about racial justice and equity in work (and life). Inspired by Carol Dweck's "growth mindset" thinking, we will talk about what it takes to build this muscle, as it's a practice.
Come with questions, stories, and problems to solve--we'll engage in a safe space, no judgement.
